Learn to Surf

Hiriketiya Bay is one of the most beautiful beaches in Sri Lanka and the best for learning to surf. Hire a board and hit the waves.

Cultural Sites

Close to the town of Dikwella, there is one of the most amazing Buddhist temples in Sri Lanka. The Wewurukannala Vihara temple. Hire a tuk tuk and check it out.

Go on Safari

Just one hour drive from Casa Vana lies Udawelawe National Park. See elephants, crocodiles and native Sri Lankan wildlife up close on safari.

GUEST REVIEW

Me and my boyfriend got the honor to be the first guests in the room at the 2nd floor. The room was spartan decorated, at very high standard and the outside/inside design was just amazing. The place is completely unique and Ian and Misja are wonderful hosts, an extra plus for the breakfast which was in top class!!

What was supposed to be an "emergency solution" to an unlucky double booking ended with us spending five days more than planned in this wonderful place!

We certainly recommend it!!
